What is Velasmooth?
Velasmooth is an innovative device that combines three different energy sources:
- Radiofrequency: increases intracellular oxygen diffusion, stimulating adipose tissue to a depth of 5-15 mm
- Infrared lightincreases the elasticity of the skin and stimulates the metabolism, while protecting the skin from damage
- Vacuumstretches the skin to facilitate a safe and effective release of energy
How does it work?
Velasmooth mechanically manipulates the fibrous bonds, the skin and the fat layer; at the same time, it creates heat, which acts on the subcutaneous fat and increases the stimulation of the mitochondrion. The bonds are tightened, the cells collapse and are absorbed, and the overall metabolism is increased. The result is an appearance smoother and more regularas well as a general reduction in circumference.
The classic 'orange peel' appearance of cellulite is caused by the fibrous bonds that compress and somehow preserve the fatty deposits. Velasmooth by means of gentle massage and pulsating, rhythmic suction reactivates somewhat dormant processes.
The combined effect of three energy sources manages to penetrate the dermis with a double effect:
- Stretching and contraction of aged collagen fibres
- Production of new collagen by stimulated fibroblasts
This makes it possible to avoid the typical emptying of the hypodermic tissue caused by slimming or the treatment of fat, which manifests itself on the skin with sagging and a 'pleated' effect.
On average, the first results with Velasmooth occur at around 6/8 weeks of treatment. Traditionally, packages of 10 sessions are created on a weekly basis, except in cases of excessive cellulite and/or fat where a few more sessions may be needed.
At the end of the treatment always expect maintenance sessions which we recommend first monthly, then every 6 weeks and finally every 3 months.
Of course, however, every result achieved with Velasmooth is subjective: there is always a preliminary visit by our specialised staff for the construction of a tailor-made route according to the needs of each individual or individual patient.
The Velasmooth treatment is not painful: it consists of a deep, warm, relaxing massage; some people experience a slight heat sensation for a few hours after the session and a reddening of the treated area.
Already after the first session one starts to notice the first improvements: the skin appears softer and smoother.
Velasmooth reduces, shapes and reshapes the treated areas, smoothes wrinkles and restores tone and firmness to the complexion. Studies show a 75% reduction in the appearance of cellulite and a decrease in circumference of 3.5/4.5 cm.
