Summer is coming to an end, and it is time to get back into a healthy routine.
It is known, September is the month when it all starts again: school, university, work, physical activity. The summer adventures have come to an end and are replaced by the usual stressful habits and monotonous routines, full of thoughts, commitments, deadlines to meet and anxieties. It is not easy resuming the usual rhythms, especially when we relaxed, enjoyed ourselves and indulged in culinary extravaganzas during the summer.
We of MedikalBeauty however, we would like to help you get back into the routine, but in a way healthy.
Here, then, are some tips for a healthy routine with the focus on five main topics:
sleep, organisation, nutrition, sport and beauty.
SLEEP CARE
The first step to a healthy routine is the quality and quantity of sleep. Coming from the summer period where our bodies were more relaxed, where we tended to have odd and unusual schedules and where sleeping hours were scarce, getting back to regular sleep is not easy. A good rule is to sleep at least eight hours a night; this involves getting to sleep relatively early and waking up at a comfortable time so that morning actions can be performed without haste. To do this, some tips we give you are:
- strive to go to bed relatively early, and if this is difficult for you, you can help yourself with relaxing songs, sounds or playlists;
- avoid naps during the day;
- distancing yourself from electronic devices - excluding television, unless it is something that keeps you awake - at least an hour before trying to fall asleep.
ORGANISATION
Being organised improves concentration and mental health and helps one to live more easily, avoiding the chaos created by many confused thoughts piled up together and, in turn, helps to maintain a healthy routine. Having a good organisation also makes us less procrastinators and consequently we will have much more free time. If you have never been an organised person, you will certainly struggle to be so at first, but you can start with simple tricks:
- checklist of daily activities to be performed;
- tidy up and keep their spaces clean, both at home and at work;
- keep an agenda or calendar in which to mark monthly and weekly commitments;
- jotting down things to do, things to remember and thoughts on post-it notes or mobile phone notes, so that we don't rely on our memory, which often overlooks so much.
SUPPLY
When one thinks of a healthy routine, the first thing that comes to mind is feeding. All the more so after the summer as we all indulge in excess food, often not too healthy; also by eating out frequently, we consume a lot of over-processed food, rich in sugar and fat. Let us now look at some tips to resume a regular eating routine:
- drink at least 2 litres of water per day;
- perform five meals following the idea of 'eating little and often';
- compose balanced meals with the right amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fats;
- don't forget fruit and vegetables!
SPORT
Another fundamental building block for building a healthy routine is thephysical activity. This is very much to your liking. Our advice is to try various sports or activities to find out which one is ideal for you. The important thing is to keep moving, not only to get rid of the extra kilos gained during the summer, but mainly for your breath, your heart and to feel good about yourself. We recommend combining cardio with weight training so that, in addition to slimming your figure, you will also tone it. Last tipsexercise with music in the background and in company; you will be more stimulated and motivated!
BEAUTY
The last item on our list for a healthy routine is the treatments, either because you have gained weight with food and need to increase your metabolism, or because the sun and heat are not our skin's best friends. We of MedikalBeauty We offer various aesthetic medicine treatments and among them today we recommend:
- ShockwaveA localised treatment that acts in the adipose tissue and targets the fibrous septa of cellulite. Its action stimulates microcirculation and cellular metabolism, promoting greater tissue firmness and tone.
- Cryosculpture: a localised treatment that is performed in areas with skin slackening, atony and fluid stagnation for the purpose of firming and combating cellulite.
